- Canned meat & fish – tuna, salmon, chicken, turkey

- Canned vegetables & fruits
- Electrolyte & carbohydrate high drinks such as Gatorade or Powerade
- Shelf stable milk
- Seasonings & sweeteners
- Multivitamins
- Grains such as pasta & rice
- Jars of pasta sauce
- Sweets such as hard candy and cookies – great for stress relief!
- Canned juices
- Food for infants
- Beef jerky
- Protein powder – These can be mixed with water and shelf stable milks for a protein filled drink.
- Freeze dried meals – They may not be the tastiest, but they’ll work in a pinch.
- Vegetable & Olive Oils
- Pancake Mixes
- Maple Syrup
- Honey
- Coffee & tea
- Alcohol – another stress buster!
Make sure you buy food you and your family will actually eat. Don’t forget to pack a can opener and eating utensils too!
